Journal of Language, Media and Society

Journal.png

Journal of Language, Media and Society is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to exploring the dynamic interplay between language, media, and social life. It provides a platform for interdisciplinary scholarship that bridges sociolinguistics, discourse studies, media and communication studies, anthropology, cultural studies, and digital humanities.

The journal welcomes original research articles, theoretical reflections, critical essays, and interdisciplinary inquiries that investigate how language practices shape, and are shaped by, mediated environments, technological change, cultural production, and social structures. We particularly encourage work that examines global and non-Western contexts, challenges dominant paradigms, or innovatively engages with digital and algorithmic cultures.

Submissions are evaluated through a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, fairness, and transparency. All articles are published under an open-access policy, allowing free and unrestricted access to knowledge for readers around the world.
